Visuals: There is an extreme close-up of the CBS Eyemark, then it zooms away towards the left to reveal a studio with blue lights around it. As the camera continues to zoom away, the company name is formed next to the Eyemark, with "Times New Roman" (in its trademark Didot font) appearing first, followed by the stacked words "Helvetica" (in Helvetica). As the full logo is revealed, there are different walls behind, one with a time-lapse of clouds animating, and another with animated helixes (only visible on the 16:9 widescreen version), and black girders, and a reflective ground (which ripples at the beginning, like water). As the camera zooms back to make a complete stop behind some girders, the "Times New Roman" in "Times New Roman" briefly shines.

Variants:
* A <u>slightly shortened version of the long version</u> starts has the logo fully formed, but starts with the camera zooming back.
* A </u>more common short version</u> has the finished product with only minimal time of zooming back. Usually, this version fades in from black at the start, and fades out to black at the end.
* From 2010, another short version has the <u>long version in warp speed</u>, albeit with the first few seconds cut off.

* On some first-run shows such as <u>The Insider</u> and <u>Entertainment Tonight</u>, the final scene or the end credits crossfade to the logo (sometimes its the longer variant).
* On the <u>2013 revival of The Arsenio Hall Show</u>, a copyright stamp for Eye Productions, Inc. appears below.
* On a <u>recent print of the second part of the two-part TV movie The Key to Rebecca</u>, the logo is squished.
* On a <u>MeTV print of a Star Trek episode</u>, there is a 1967 copyright at the bottom. Other Star Trek variants feature a 1968 Paramount/Norway copyright or a 1978 Paramount copyright.

* For the slightly shorter medium-length version, the first note is shorter, and the first instance of the brass/synth stringer is omitted.

▲* Sometimes, the theme would have either six (minus the first note) or all seven notes. For the full seven-note version, the first note may be cut in half (on some first-run shows) or be heard in full (often heard on syndicated prints of shows produced by CBS Productions, CBS Paramount Television, and CBS Television Studios).
* On the revival of The Arsenio Hall Show, the last three notes are used.
Audio Variants:
* On <u>Jeopardy!</u>, part of the 1999 King World thunderclap sound effect can be heard before the theme is playing, probably due to a plaster error. However, on the first few episodes under this logo, the short 1999 King World thunderclap, and the first part of the long version of the 2002 Sony Pictures Television logo audio played, which continues to the short version of said logo.

Trivia: On first-run series from the company, the logo is animated at 30fps. However, when it plasters older logos on syndicated reruns and DVD releases of some older shows, it is animated at 24fps.
Variants:
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A brief brass/synth stinger, followed by a seven-note string sounder, derived from the first CBS Paramount Television logo's music, which sounds like a re-orchestration (and slight rearrangement) of that. The first note is held longer, and fourth note is accompanied by a beat, which is actually part of a timpani roll accompanying notes 1-4. A cymbal is also heard on the fourth and sixth notes; the first one plays when the timpani stops. After the sixth note, there is a long pause, ending with a seventh note, then the same brass/synth stinger in a lower tone. Composed by Gregory Smith. The following versions are commonly used:
Audio Variants:

Legacy: The logo is divisive in and out of the logo community for its visuals and presence. It has received praise for its animation, graphics, and audio, but the logo's large-scale plastering earned this logo some despise.
