Visuals: Against a black background, the purple text "WKID·FT.LAUDERDALE" appears at the bottom, along with a purple line above and the station's logo (which is the text "TV50") next to it. And at the top, some colorful trails collide themself, zoom out and form the multicolor word "ON", as a flash occurs. Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A soothing tune, accompanied by an announcer saying: "WKID TV-51, Fort Lauderdale"
