Background

World Channel Original Production is the production branding of World Channel.

Logo (May 5, 2023-)

Visuals: A solid iris effect unveils copies of "WORLD", with random letters briefly becoming solid gold, scrolling either to the left or right. Another iris effect, with a gold ring masking the next layer, unveils a white "W" within a solid gold circle. Then, the letters "OLRD", with filled-in counters, pop in and shift in a rigid direction toward the "W". The logo zooms out, and "A" appears through a bordered and then solid version, followed by "ORIGINAL PRODUCTION" underneath through the same type of animation.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: A whoosh, followed by a deep piano note and rising vibrating violin track. Then, a high-note, mellow digital piano piece plays.

Availability: The logo is seen on mid-2020's printings and airings of Stories From the Stage and Local, USA episodes.
