Background

186K Films is the production company of Hasan Minhaj, founded on December 8, 2021.[1]

1st Logo (October 4, 2022)

Visuals: "186K FILMS" is shown in a white, tall blocky font.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Hasan Minhaj: The King's Jester.

2nd Logo (October 22, 2024)

Visuals: Several close-ups of lights illuminating black corners and strokes of various letters are shown while the background slightly lights up with a majority comprised of "o"'s. Eventually, the logo in full view is shown after several cuts and light-up effects, displaying "184K" in a stylized geometric format. The box is made up of three "o"'s, with two on top of one another and inverted. The top "o" is within a solid white box with its right cut-off by a right triangle. The "K" is made up of two right triangles. After the logo's formation, it cuts, backs away, and flattens from a beveled format where the background becomes dark gray and "186K FILMS" appears to the logo's bottom left.

Technique: Flash animation by Pentagram.[2]

Audio: Several excerpts of muffled, electronic clicking and beeping while room ambiance plays in the background.

Availability: The logo is seen on Hasan Minhaj: Off with His Head.
