Background

Center for Asian American Media is an American television production company owned by PBS, focusing on programs towards Asian-American people.

1st Logo (September 17, 2007)

The logo starts at 0:09

Visuals: On a white background, the screen ripples like water to reveal "CENTER FOR" in gray with the red text "ASIAN AMERICAN MEDIA" below, slanted to the right.

Technique: CGI.

2nd Logo (2011-)


Visuals: On a black background, a cyan light is seen moving, before it dissolves as a white circle, with several cyan outlines surrounding it and two circles, with the bigger one being overlaid onto the bottom-left and the smaller one being overlaid onto the top-right, blurs in. "C A A M" then blurs in letter-by-letter, alongside "CENTER FOR ASIAN AMERICAN MEDIA" in cyan, wipes in below.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: A four-note piano tune with a ascending synth note in the background.
