Background

U&Dave (formerly Dave) is a British free-to-air television channel owned by UKTV. Advertising itself as "the home of witty banter", the channel broadcasts mainly comedy series produced by the BBC, along with some factual programming. The channel's current name was rebranded from UKTV G2, on October 15, 2007.

• A special ident for the tenth series premiere of Red Dwarf is used on October 4, 2012. Here, a spaceship made out of metal parts (one of them is showing the logo) and shaped like the "Dave" logo is shown moving towards the camera to reveal the entire spaceship over a space background.

Visuals: Depends on the ident, a situation occurs as "Dave" is shown on various ways. Sometimes, a quote can be seen in place of the logo in the generic ident, as the logo is now seen in a different way.

Later Variant: When the channel rebranded to U&Dave on July 16, 2024, "U&" is added beside "Dave".
