Background

Galaxy Club was the children's programming block of BSB's entertainment channel Galaxy.

ID (26 March-2 December 1990)

Visuals: The multicolour letters of "CLUB", depicted as mascot characters with legs, are seen in a white room. The "C" is green with a purple inside, the "L" is blue with yellow stars, the "U" is mainly the same as the "C" but also has a bit of the "L" and red, and the "B" is red with a bit of green. The letters start walking around each other, then rearrange into "CLUB" and leave the room afterwards. The "GALAXY" channel wordmark above the letters and the BSB logo in the bottom right corner are seen all throughout the sequence.

Variant: Another ident has the letters arriving into their places, but the "L" is missing. The "L" eventually comes flying in, and accidentally breaks a hole in the wall, tilting the "GALAXY" wordmark as well.

Technique: Live-action from Lambie-Nairn.

Audio: A cheery flute theme with additional sound effects from the characters.
