Kayro Productions

1st Logo (1961-1964?)

Logo: Essentially, it consists of the text "Kayro" above "Productions". The logo is often paired with the Revue Studios logo.

FX/SFX: The animation of the Revue logo or the credits.

Music/Sounds: Either the closing theme of the show or the Revue theme.

Availability: Can be found on most Revue produced shows. A standalone version was seen on Calvin and the Colonel.

Kayro-Vue Productions

Background

Kayro-Vue Productions was formed in 1964 as a joint venture between Kayro Productions and Revue Studios.

Nickname: "Kayro and Revue"

Logo: On a cloudy gray background, we see the text:

Template:Courier

in a typewriter-like font. Then it fades to the Universal "Zooming Globe" logo without the MCA byline.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The 1960 short Revue Studios and 1965 Universal Television themes respectively.

Availability: Last seen on all episodes of The Munsters on WGN America and also on the short-lived show Karen.

Kayro-UTV Productions

Background

After Revue Studios was reincorporated as Universal Television in 1962, the name "Revue" was kept as an in-name-only unit for the two short-lived series The Munsters and Karen. In 1966, Revue became UTV.

Logo: We see the text "A KAYRO-UTV PRODUCTION" in the credits.

FX/SFX: None or the scrolling of the credits.

Music/Sounds: The end-title theme from any show.

Availability: So far, only seen on the short-lived series, Pistols 'n' Petticoats. It was said that it appeared on the short-lived series, Blondie, but it hasn't been confirmed since it hasn't been on air in over 40 years.
