Background

Kefir Production was a Moscow-based TV production company that was founded on October 10th, 2006. It is most well known for producing Битва экстрасенсов (based on Britain’s Psychic Challenge; also known as Новая битва экстрасенсов since season 23), an anti-science TV show that airs on TNT and still goes strong today.

On March 15th, 2013, the company was suspected of tax evasion by metropolitan investigators. As told by a representative of the GSUSK of Russia in the Moscow region to RIA Novosti, the company evaded the payment of value added tax and income tax for a total amount of more than 46.5 million rubles. He also said that the case was initiated against the head of the company, Vladislav Severtsev. The maximum sanction of the article imputed to him is six years in prison. The company was liquidated on the basis of the ruling of the arbitration court on the completion of bankruptcy proceedings on June 9th, 2015.

Visuals: On a white vignette background with film scratch effects, a black rhombus with a lower cropped end jumps into the screen from afar as it drops down the stacked words "KEFIR PRODUCTION", which then settle themselves below it. A little girl in a cartoonish design wearing a bow also jumps in from a rhombus as a butterfly flies in from the latter to the right. As a girl smiles at the viewer, a large bottle of milk also jumps in from the right of a rhombus for her to catch it, while the rhombus zoomed out a little as a butterfly lands on the bottom of a bottle.

Variant: On Суперинтуиция, the white background is solid and film scratch effects are absent.

Audio: A deep, yet cartoony bouncing sound effect followed by a guitar stinger.
