Background

This is Madeleine Smithberg's vanity card.

Logo (July 22, 1996-December 19, 2002, 2009)

Visuals: In a rectangle with a black border, there is a drawing of a brown cow with its head over a fence in a farm. The text "MADCOW PRODUCTIONS" is displayed on the left side of the rectangle, facing sideways. The cow says "The cow says...". Seconds later, it rolls its eyes in disgust.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: The cow's line followed by a grainy, low quality mooing sound. Everything is taken directly from the "See 'n Say" toy made by Mattel.

Later Audio Variant: Starting in 2000, the mooing sound is replaced by a baby boy saying "Moo!" and then he giggles. On the Adult Swim pilot Yappy Broads, audience applause and cheering are heard throughout the later version of the logo.

Availability: Seen on The Daily Show on Comedy Central until 2002. However, the show currently has no logo at the end. Also seen on the Adult Swim pilot Yappy Broads.
