Logo (April 7, 2001-September 14, 2010)

Visuals: On a dark blue-dodger blue radial gradient background is the globe in a shiny format, reflecting two wide copies of it in the background and light streaks on the bottom. "PW" in white is over the globe whereas "PETER WILLIAMS TELEVISION" in a stacked format is to the right of it. The logo is on the top section of the screen and the radial gradient is centred on the top left section.

Variant:

  • At the end of programmes, a copyright stamp is added to the bottom of the screen.
  • There is an animated variant where the logo shines from left to right.
  • Sometimes, the logo appears in a horizontal box and shares the screen with other logos.

Technique: This is either a still, computerized graphic or animated with 2D computer animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: The logo made its earliest appearances on Doodlebug Summer and Aspinall's Animals. It later appears on reprints of Nightmail II, Love and War, and Wellington Bomber. The boxed variant appears on the latter two programmes whereas the animated variant can be seen on Love and War.
