Background

Saban/Scherick Productions was a joint-venture between Haim Saban and Edward J. Scherick for the production of television films.

Nickname: "Gold Coin"

Logo: On a black background we see the then-current Saban logo, which is a gold plate with three white lines form on the bottom-left of the circle. Under it, the words "SABAN/SCHERICK PRODUCTIONS" in Avant Garde font with an underline seen below.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare. It can be seen on some television films made by the studio, such as The Rape of Doctor Willis, Nightmare in the Daylight and the 1990 version of The Phantom of the Opera, although the 1994 Libra Pictures logo plasters this logo on some prints of the latter.
