On May 28, 2002, following the merger of Studios USA Television with Universal Worldwide Television, the company itself was renamed to Universal Television Distribution, which serves as its international subsidiary. The company operated for a mere two years, before folding itself into NBC Universal Television Distribution in 2004.
Visuals: There is the finished product of the 1997-2012 Universal Pictures logo, with the globe still rotating and the glow shining, but the shadow behind "UNIVERSAL" is absent. Below the globe is text "UNIVERSAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION" (in gold) and the URL "www.universalstudios.com" (which is smaller this time).
Variant: Sometimes, the logo only features the URL below the logo, but it is bigger.
Technique: CGI by Picturemill.
Audio: A short version of the movie counterpart's theme composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith, only this time, the French horn theme plays alone, and the two percussion hits are played by the orchestra.
