Background
ITV3, the third channel to join the ITV family, launched on Freeview, Cable and Satellite (after a hasty and messy 11th hour closure of the highly popular Granada Plus channel) at 9pm on November 1st 2004. Aimed at a more mature audience, the channel features a mix of films and drama, drawing heavily upon the vast archive of the various companies ITV acquired over the years.

Visuals: On a static background, a light purple 3 appears and zooms out to the center of the screen. The background then pans to the right, causing 3 to be in a motion blur effect and moves to the left until the camera comes to the stop. Then the left side of the screen, a light purple 2013 ITV logo fades in to the left.
Variants:
- Railway Station: A train station at night is seen. There, an old-film screen effect of a man drops off his suitcase and his wife comes in from the left and reunites with a kiss.
- Rural: A rural landscape is seen. There are three men using metal detectors to search for something. One of them spots something and digs up the hole.
- Café: A female detective with a flashlight enters the screen. She then walks to the door and begins to open.
- Cityscape: A city is seen at daytime. There, five jets perform a light-purple and white pattern clouds.
- Seaside: An empty seaside is seen. But after the camera pans to the right, reveals an animated oil-painting of a ship at the same location with lighthouse being shown on the right during a cloudy dawn.
Technique: Live-action combined with computer effects.
Audio: Depends on the ident.
