Background

KUED is a PBS affiliate located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

1st Logo (1985-1993)

Nickname: "The Live-Action Mountain"

Logo: Against a live-action background of a snow-capped peak that we fly over, we see the letters "KUED" in an Aero Extended font with cuts on the "E" & "D", colored spring green, brightly flashing and below that, the words "Salt Lake City" in a thin futuristic font, but smaller and colored red-orange, wipe in via a star, just like in the 1st Hanna-Barbera Home Video logo, and a few stars can be seen blinking on the logo, even as we fade out.
