Background

In 2020, WGBH rebranded as GBH; the name is currently used on-air, while the rebrand is expected to roll out on other platforms throughout the 2020s.

Logo (August 31, 2020-)

Visuals: Rim lighting runs across the edges of an purple object from left to right, while a dim spotlight runs through the center, revealing the letters "GBH". The spotlight then dies down as the GBH logo is wiped in from the left and shines on the edges. The logo has the same shadow effect as the WGBH logo, but with the letters in the taller, more geometric Red Hat font, and is colored purple. The logo slowly zooms in before quickly fading out.

Variant: An in-credit version exists.

Technique: CGI. The logo was designed by Minelli Inc.
