Background

Random House Children's Entertainment is a children's production division of publisher Random House. It was originally formed as "Random House Entertainment", but was later renamed to its current name in 2010.

1st Logo (September 13, 1997-June 13, 1998)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a crudely-drawn crayon version of the Random House logo, which sits behind the sun on grass, all in a box. Below it, there is "Random House" and "entertainment" below it, all in a childlike font.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen only on the short-lived puppet series The Crayon Box, which has been lingering in obscurity since it stopped airing in syndication (in the US, alongside Bananas in Pajamas) and on YTV in Canada.
