Background

Studio T was the official production arm of the Turner Broadcasting System. It was founded in 2016 after Turner merged TBS Productions and TNT Productions into one entity. It folded into WarnerMedia Entertainment shortly after the AT&T acquisition. The company is possibly named after the TNets, the name of Turner's network group for TBS, TNT, and TruTV.

Logo (January 17, 2016-March 27, 2019)


Visuals: On a brown smoky background, a flare flies down and causes the words "Studio T", in a rounded conventional font, to be drawn in. Outlines of the logo can be seen while the letters appear. The logo lights up when it settles, leaving sparks flying into the foreground. The current TBS and TNT logos light up on the bottom of the logo.

Variant: A shorter version (which actually debuted first) starts with the text forming.

Technique: CGI by King and Country.

Audio: A dissonant synth note accompanied by whooshes.

Availability: It was seen on shows airing on TBS and TNT, such as Angie Tribeca, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Search Party, The Last Ship, Good Behavior, and the first season of Final Space.
