'''Logo:''' Each variant has a green five petal flower to reveal the PBS Kids Sprout logo. The word "sprout" is written in a font. All of this takes place on a blue background.

'''Trivia:''' This logo was designed by Primal Screen.

'''Variants:'''
*"Flowers": The flower hits any colored flowers, causing them to spin, before getting into the Sprout logo.
*"Big and Little": The flower jumps out of a larger version of itself as they roll along with the little as the latter jumps to the Sprout logo.
*"Fluttering": Colored flowers fly across the screen where one of them is green and fly to the Sprout logo.
*"Hoops": We see flowers playing with hoops, one of them spins its hoop too fast, causing the Sprout logo to reveal. This time, the background is yellow.
*"Mobile": As we see a mobile, we saw various PBS Kids characters, such as Ernie and Barney. Then, we see the PBS Kids Sprout assembles by itself.

'''Technique:''' Flash animation.

'''Music/Sounds:''' A 7-note theme tune that is Sprout's signature jingle.

'''Availability:''' Extinct. It's seen on PBS Kids shows that aired on Sprout before 2009.

'''Logo:''' We see a child’s hand opening a pop-up book. When it opens, lots of pictures unfold, such as trees, bushes, and flowers. A big orange flour is seen with the 2009 Sprout logo, with the text "sprout" in blue with a green 5-pedal flower above the "out" The text "Original" is also shown.

'''Trivia:''' It's presumed that this was supposed to appear on ''Astroblast'', as the closing theme fades out when it could've finished.

'''Variants:'''

*An in-credit version exists without "Original" can be seen on ''Nina's Little Fables''.
*On uploads of ''Pajanimals'' to the Jim Henson's Family Hub YouTube channel, the logo cheaply freeze-frames at the end so that the full credits music can be played.

'''Technique:''' The hand opening the book, and the text. Live action combined with computer animation.

'''Music/Sounds:''' A remix of the Sprout theme, with kids saying, "Sprout!".

'''Availability:''' Uncommon. Seen on several Sprout original series (including ''The Chica Show''), most of which are no longer on TV. However, it may be preserved on Hulu and Amazon Prime prints of ''The Chica Show''. It is intact on uploads of ''Pajanimals'' to the official Jim Henson's Family Hub YouTube channel.

'''Logo:''' Against a grainy white background, we see a kid and another grownup (possibly their mom or dad) standing. The grownup holds a text reading, "original" and the kid holds a bullhorn. When [s]he says, "Sprout!" pieces of the Sprout logo come out. Then, the both say, "Original!" and the grownup holds up the text [s]he was holding so we can see it.

'''Technique:''' Live action. This was filmed in New York City.

'''Music/Sounds:''' Another remix of the Sprout theme, along with the kid and the parent's dialogue.

'''Music/Sounds Variant:''' There are instrumental, dialogue-less versions of this logo.

'''Availability:''' Extinct. This was first shown on episodes of ''Astroblast'' on Sprout. This can also be found on ''Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave'', before being replaced with the next logo below a few months later.

Background

On September 9, 2017, Sprout rebranded as Universal Kids and its in-house production company was rebranded as Universal Kids Originals. Coinciding with this, the network became targeted primarily at school-aged kids (from 7-12 years old). The network is owned by NBCUniversal.

1st Logo (October 13, 2017)

Visuals: On a white background, the Universal Kids logo (which consists of Universal Pictures' print logo's globe which is cut in half and the words "UNIVERSAL KIDS" in teal) appears and the words are revolving around the globe. The words "ORIGINAL SERIES" in purple and stacked appears at the last rotation of "UNIVERSAL KIDS". A copyright notice for Bravo Media is at the bottom.

Technique: 2D computer animation, done by ELOSIA Studio.

Audio: A remixed techno hip-hop beat accompanied with the sound of kids shouting "Ooh!".

Availability: It only appeared on Universal Kids' website and the original upload of the first episode of Top Chef Junior on YouTube. However, Universal Kids took it off their website sometime later. When it was eventually re-uploaded back onto their website, this logo was removed.

2nd Logo (October 13, 2017-April 11, 2019)

Visuals: On a light blue (or teal) background, the words "UNIVERSAL KIDS ORIGINAL" slide into the center of the screen. "UNIVERSAL KIDS" slides in from the left side and "ORIGINAL" slides in from the right. Sometimes, copyright info would appear below.

Variants:

  • On Nina's World, the Sprout logo appears on a dark blue background before it zooms away from the viewer while the dark background changes into a teal background via a zooming-out circle effect and the green flower of the Sprout logo. The words are already formed in this variant.
  • Starting in 2018, the font has changed slightly.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Same as the first logo. For the Nina's World variant, the music is slightly altered.

Availability: Seen on Top Chef Junior and The Noise. The variant is seen on Nina's World and most likely other Sprout Original shows. As of 2019, no new original shows are being produced, so now the only other programs the air on Universal Kids are acquired/imported ones.

Legacy: The Nina's World variant was possibly made to remind younger audiences that Sprout was going to become Universal Kids.

3rd Logo (April 12, 2019-)

Visuals: On a teal and green-blue background, the text "universal kids original" appears via a swiping in effect with a copyright notice appearing below the text. Then the text disappears.

Variant: Starting with Remy & Boo, the Universal Kids current logo now appears on the screen without the copyright notice.

Technique: Traditional animation, done by Kill 2 Birds.

Audio: A techno theme, different than the last two logos. Starting with Remy & Boo, a different theme was played.

Availability: Seen on Universal Kids Originals from the period, such as Remy & Boo.
