Background

WDCQ is a PBS station located in Bad Axe, Michigan. It began broadcating in 1986. It was the satellite station of WDCP (launched in 1964) until that station shut down in 2009.

1st (known) Logo (1986-199?)

Logo: We see 3 sections colored in blue. The first section says "WUCM-TV 19 University Center, MI", the second section says "Delta Broadcasting", and the last section says "WUCX-TV 35 Bad Axe / Ubly, MI".

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: An announcer saying "TV 19 and 35, from Delta Broadcasting".

Availability: Extinct. It is a station ID.

2nd Logo (2004)

Logo: On a scientific background, we see a sliding letter "Q". While it slides, "W" and "DC" appear. Then, below "DC", "Delta College" fades in and below it is "Mid-Michigan".

Technique: The animation.

Music/Sounds: A guitar-like sound.

Availability: Unknown.
