Background

XYZnetworks was an Australian media company jointly owned by Foxtel and Austar. The company owned subscription television channels in Australia, including Arena, Channel V (and its sister channels MAXwas and [V] Hits), Country Music Channel, The LifeStyle Channel (and its themed channels, LifeStyle Food, LifeStyle Home and LifeStyle You) and The Weather Channel Australia. The company also distributed Discovery Channel and jointly owned Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. On May 24, 2012, following the merger between Foxtel and Austar, Foxtel wholly owned the company before closing down and moving all channels to Foxtel Networks.

When the text is revealed, the bottom part of "y" wipes in from the top, giving the text a complete look. The small copyright notice can be seen on the bottom-left throughout the logo.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: A calm synth note.
