Background

Connection III Entertainment Corp. was the producer/distributor for television programming and motion pictures, founded by Cleveland O'Neal III.

1st Logo (August 2, 1996-Late 2000s)


Visuals: On a navy gradient space background with a bright red lens flare, the word "III" is shown taking half of the screen and panned downwards whilst zooming out and pan to settle to the right, with "CONNECTION" behind it as it starts zooming forwards to settle next to the aforementioned, though it stops for a moment, and zooms back to it's current position. "ENTERTAINMENT CORP." fades in below, then followed with three bright red 8-pointed stars to flash in, revealing three sets of text: "Music", "Television" and "Motion Pictures", separated by two gold interpuncts that fade in.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep held-out note with two synth dings and a high, held synth note.

Availability: Debuted on Phat Beach, then later appeared at the end of Made in Hollywood and the spin-off Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition episodes from the era.

2nd Logo (Late 2000s-August 28, 2012)


Visuals: There is a bright flash in which dies out to reveal "CONNECTION III" to rotate into view, and that quickly zooms out. It is set against a dark room with three moving spotlights enlightening the scenery. A glowing ball of light passes through the text, revealing "ENTERTAINMENT CORP." underneath it. Three sets of text: "PRODUCTION", "MARKETING" and "DISTRIBUTION" then fade in below, separately.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Several loud whooshes from the start, followed by the theme from above.

Availability: Seen on Made in Hollywood episodes from the era.

3rd Logo (August 28, 2012-)

Visuals: The sequence starts tilted and set on a bright tan setting, where a dark azure colored serif "C" rotates clockwise as it zooms and settles above. Various sets of glowing bars assemble from middle to left-right, which form various pairs of text. Whilst this happens, the screen rotates in it's current angle. The pairs of text are revealed to be "CONNECTION III ENTERTAINMENT CORP." in a stacked position with a dark azure underlined bar, and three sets of text, those being "PRODUCTION", "DISTRIBUTION" and "BROADCASTING" underneath the bar. The serif letter then reveals two wavy black rectangles with sprocket holes and three columns of the serif "I" sticked between the rectangles spreading out of it. The screen backs up slowly.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A sudden rising whoosh ending with an echoed 'hit' and a held-out sting note.

Availability: Seen on Made in Hollywood episodes from the era. This was debuted on one demo reel, which can be found on their company's Vimeo account.
