Background

Kokusai Denshin Denwa or KDD is a company offering Japanese customers a broad array of domestic and international communications.

1st Tag (1976-1978?)


Visuals: Over a white background, the company name in Japanese and in blue is shown in any place.

Technique: A still printed graphic.

Audio: The closing audio of the commercial.

2nd Tag (1978-1996)


Visuals: Over a white background, or superimposed background, there are 2 blue globes merging with a black "KDD" and the Japanese text on either at the right of the globes.

Variants: Sometimes, it's just 2 globes and "KDD".

Technique: A still printed graphic.

Audio: The closing audio of the commercial or a choir saying "KDD".

3rd Tag (1980s?-1996)


Visuals: Over a white background, or superimposed background, there is the blue/black "KDD" and the Japanese text from before.

Variants: Sometimes, the "KDD" is white.
