Background

WNMU is a PBS affiliate located in Marquette, Michigan.

1st ID (1989-1996)

Visuals: On a blue background, the 13 Public TV logo is shown, which shines as the text "WNMU-TV" fades in.

Variant: There is a short version of this logo used for national productions.

Audio: An eight-note piano tune with a female voiceover saying "This is member supported public television on WNMU-TV Channel 13, Marquette, Michigan." The national variant uses a synth tune.

3rd Logo (2003-April 28, 2006)

Visuals: On a cloudy sky background, the 13 Public TV logo fades in, followed by the blue text "A WNMU Production".

Variant: The local version uses a green background with a P-Head logo and the text "A Public Service of Northern Michigan University".

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: An 11-note piano tune. The local version has a female voiceover saying "This is member supported public television. WNMU, Channel 13, Marquette, Michigan."

Availability: The production version is used at the end of programmes, followed by the 2002 American Public Television logo.

4th Logo (April 29, 2006-2008)

Visuals: On a cloudy sky background, the 13 Public TV logo and the white text "WNMU-TV Marquette, Michigan" text fade in, followed by the URL: www.nmu.edu/wnmutv.
