'''Logo:''' We see a mountain
'''Variant:''' A longer version was used as a station ID- it starts at the mountain on a black background, and a {{color|blue}} glow happens behind it while "11 KBYU" zooms out, shrinking itself before settling in place. "P R O V O U T A H" then appears below.
'''Technique:''' 2D animation.
'''Music/Sounds:''' An orchestral tune that sounds like the beginning of Frank Gari's "Great News" music. In the station ID, mellow piano music is heard, along with an announcer saying "This is KBYU-TV, Channel 11, Provo, Utah-- the ones to watch."
Line 19:
'''Logo:''' On a {{color|darkblue|dark blue}}-{{color|darkgray|dark gray}} gradient background, we see the KBYU logo in {{color|darkviolet|purple}} with italics, zooming in quickly. Then, a diamond-shaped flash of light occurs behind the logo, which is now over the small text "PROVO/SALT LAKE CITY".
'''Technique:'''
'''Music/Sounds:''' An echoed piano note, with a flourish before it ends. This is actually part of [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6Br8eNw9Mo "Escape from the Atmosphere" by Mannheim Steamroller].
Line 28:
'''Logo:''' On a stone background, the {{color|gold|golden}} 3D text "'''KBYU'''" in a different font from before, as well as the smaller text "T E L E V I S I O N" swing in from the right side of the screen, zooming back from the camera. Already in the background is the text "A Presentation of" in a {{color|gold|golden}} Times New Roman font, and a comet near the bottom appears flies to the right, revealing "Brigham Young University" in the same font, as it leaves yellow/orange/red particles.
'''Technique:'''
'''Music/Sounds:''' None.
