Background

KVCR (also known as Empire Network and Empire PBS) is a PBS affiliate located in San Bernadino, California. Initially a radio station, it started TV broadcasting on September 11, 1962 and would become an affiliate of NPR in the spring of 1970. In 2017, the network was sometimes branded as Empire Network and two years later, the channel was renamed to Empire PBS.

Logo: Over an image of a tree-filled setting below a pale sky, we see the words "KVCR-TV CHANNEL 24 SAN BERNADINO / RIVERSIDE,CA. INLAND PUBLIC TELEVISION", all aligned to the right near the bottom of the screen in different fonts, colors, and settings.

Variant: On the channel's 25th anniversary, an extra set of text was added before the network name, reading "Celebrating 25 years in" with the text in blue and "25" in white.
