1986(?)-2001(?): With an another different shot of the Kansas State Capitol and the surrounding area, the text "KTWU" in a custom font, with the text "A Presentation of" above and "Topeka, Kansas" below, all now colored in blue, flip in towards the screen like the first version.

A longer variant of the first version exists, which has an extra 6-second pan shot in the background at the beginning.
