Background

When KCET ended its affiliation with PBS on January 1st, 2011, a broadcasting deal was made with KOCE, KLCS, and KVCR to form PBS SoCal, as a way of having PBS in Southern California. On April 25, 2018, KOCE and KCET announced they would merge together, saying that PBS SoCal would relocate to Burbank (to KCET's facility) and KCET would become a secondary member station. Their website is here.
