'''TV1''' (formerly '''TV Malaysia''', '''Rangkaian Pertama''' and '''RTM1''')
RTM is the state owned broadcaster for Malaysia, launched in 1946. In 1969, RTM launched [[TV2 (Malaysia)|TV2]], and thus their main channel became TV1. As of now, they own four TV channels, six national radio stations and a myriad of local radio stations.

RTM1 (first era)

1st Logo (1978-1985)

Logo: Against a space background, we see a mix of bright red, yellow and white lights come from each side of the screen. They quickly cross each other in an X pattern before disappearing, revealing the outline of Malaysia in orange. Small white lights quickly trace around the country outline. Then the space in the country flashes and turns orange. A hollow circle grows in the center of the screen. From the left and right of the screen, two curved lines wrap around the circle. The outline of Malaysia disappears and what's left is the outline of what looks like an eye. Many yellow, teal, orange, blue and transparent squares fly into the pupil of the eye. Afterwards, a four pointed star flashes in the pupil. When that clears, the eye now has yellow and orange eyelids, a teal sclera and a blue pupil. The letters "rtm" in a lowercase serif font fly in one by one, landing in the eye. The logo then zooms back and a light quickly dances around it. A big yellow "1" appears in a flash next to the eye. Underneath it all, the words "SALURAN KOMUNIKASI ANDA" ("YOUR COMMUNICATION CHANNEL") slide in from the right.

FX/SFX: Everything, which looks hand animated and rough. It's a very fast paced logo.

Music/Sounds: A disco tune.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (1985-1987)

Logo: A bright sparkler flashes next to a crescent moon on a blue background. The sparkle reveals a star. The moon and star zoom out to reveal that it's part of a computer generated Malaysian flag. The flag tilts back and then begins to spin around rapidly. As it spins, a blue circle fades in. The flag disappears into the circle. The circle then glows orange. The letters "rtm" in chrome/white flip in from the bottom and rest on the circle. Teal curves dissolve in around the circle. On the top and bottom of this logo, two flashes going in opposite directions draw the yellow/orange part of the main RTM logo. A white "1" flashes inside the eye, and the text shines.

FX/SFX: Passable CGI for its time.

Music/Sounds: A bouncy synth tune.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: None.

3rd Logo (1987-1990)

Logo: Against a space background with blue stars, a glass sphere with a missing quarter flies in. A half-outlined circle appears as the missing quarter turns into a piece of paper, folding into a full circle, with a curved outline appearing halfway before the full circle is formed. A blue outlined curved square with a hole in the middle zooms out as four white horizontal lines appear inside the circle. The insides of the curved square turn grey, and the horizontal rectangle hole turns blue, creating a full curved square. An orange line then appears from the middle, followed by the rtm text appearing. A 1 then appears next to the text and below the line.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth tune.

Availability: Extinct.
