TV2 is the secondary channel of Malaysia's state-run broadcasting company, Radio Televisyen Malaysia. It was launched in 1969.
RTM2 (first era)
1st (known) Logo (1985-1987)
Logo: On a black background, the yellow part of the 1985 RTM logo appears by scaling down, while the orange part scales up, both having a trail of the same parts merging with the original positions of the logo. Then, the teal curves and blue circle appear inside the orange and yellow parts of the logo. A trail of the rtm text fly into its positions and the 2 appears at the bottom right of the logo. The logo remains still for a few seconds until it disintegrates.
FX/SFX: Computer and hand animated animation.
Music/Sounds: A synth tune.

TV2 (first era)
1st (known) Logo (1990s-2004)
Logo: TBA
Variant: In the bottom right corner, a bug denoting the programs are made in stereo would wipe in.
FX/SFX: The text, background, and the star wiping at the bottom were all CGI. The "tv2" in the square was actually a model shot with a filtered lens. This logo was done by Malaysian animation studio Fat Lizard (now known as Vision Animation), who would later go on to produce shows such as SheZow and Transformers: Rescue Bots. This logo still holds up today.
Music/Sounds: A delightful, if somewhat generic, synth tune with some twinkling noises made by Fat Lizard. In later years, this was replaced with a simpler synth trumpet theme made in house by RTM.
