Background

Vermont PBS (formerly Vermont ETV and Vermont Public Television) is a statewide PBS affiliate serving the state of Vermont.

1st ID (1980s-1997)


Visuals: On a black background, red, apricot, and green leaves blow in from the left side. Then a stacked "Vermont ETV" appears, which is made out of glass and colored blue. This shines three times. The first time it shines, two red leaves and an apricot one settle at the bottom of the glass structure.

Variant: A short variant cuts the last shine.

Technique: A mix of cel-animation and CGI.

Audio: A relaxing guitar tune with a flourish at the end.

Availability: Seen at the beginning of Making The Civil War.

2nd ID (1998)


Visuals: On a black background, there is a purple rounded rectangle with green layers of abstract hills and a white circle in the upper-left corner representing the sun.
