WSEC, or Network Knowledge, is a PBS member network serving central-west Illinois.

1st Logo (1980s-Early 1990s)

Visuals: Over a pixelated background there's the text "A Production of" in a white font with a blue outline on the left. "SANGAMON STATE UNIVERSITY" is below it, stacked vertically, with "Springfield, Illinois" below it. The Sangamon State University symbol is below it. On the right are three historical landmarks of Springfield in a blue frame. The one on top and the smallest is the Illinois State Capitol. On the center, there's Lincoln's Head in the Lincoln Tomb, and on the bottom and the largest an unknown monument, but possibly the Sangamon State University or the Lincoln Home.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: None

Availability: Seen on The Lincolns of Springfield, Illinois.

2nd Logo (2009-)

Visuals: On a daytime view of the Illinois State Capitol, the text "A house divided against itself," in script fades in on the bottom left. Then it fades to "cannot stand." The script then fades out. During that, "A Production of" in Times New Roman fades on the center right. Then "WSEC" with the PBS logo on the right of it with "Springfield" on the bottom of it fades in on the bottom right.

Variant: Before the 2010s, the script was in a different cursive.

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: 3 French horn notes when "A house divided against itself" fades in, then 2 notes when it fades to "cannot stand". Then 1 note each when "A Production of" and "WSEC" fade in.

Availability: Seen at the end of their local programs, like CapitolView and Illinois Stories. The different cursive variant is seen on Building Stories, and on the February 5th, 2016 episode of CapitolView.
