WTVP is a PBS station that serves Central Illinois and is headquartered in Peoria, Illinois.
Visuals: On a black background, the word "WTVP" with a white outline comes from the top and moves closer to the center, while 6 red-yellow gradient lines appear from the bottom. Then the word "peoria", in the same font as "WTVP" comes from the bottom of the screen and moves to the center below "WTVP". Then it fades into "presents" in the same font, but black instead of blue.
Technique: Analog computer animation.
Audio: The credits music, an excerpt of "The Walkman" from jazz keyboardist Bob James' 1980 album "H".
Availability: Found on an episode of Centerstage. This may be one of the rarest PBS logos.
Visuals: On an orange background is the "WTVP" text, which shines along with "a Peoria Production" under it, which appears afterwards.
Variant: On local programs, "presents" is seen under the logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A three-note piano tune, which sounds similar to the 2000 Star Cinema and Tyne Tees Weather fanfares by Dick De Benedictis Music.
Audio Variant: On local programs, an electronic guitar tune is heard with an orchestral hit at the end.
Availability: Seen at the end of cooking and painting shows. Also seen at the beginning on their local programs.
Visuals: On a black background, a flash forms the WTVP logo, which slightly glows. Then a small blue flash appears at the bottom, writing out the words "Engaging...Enhancing...Inspiring".
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Starts with a tinkle sound, then a proud 7-note theme with shining sounds. For the alternate version, a reverse cymbal sound during the flash, then a victorious theme, which is actually an excerpt of "Day One" by John Tesh.
Availability: Current in Peoria.
