1st ID (1982-2001?)

Visuals: There's two versions:

  • First Version (1980-1986?): Fading into a helicopter pan shot of the Kansas State Capitol and the surrounding area, the black word "KTWU" in a custom font flips in towards the screen, and as it stops and faces the screen, the red-violet word "presents" appears letter-by-letter.
  • Second Version (1986?-2001?): With an another different shot of the Kansas State Capitol and the surrounding area, the text "KTWU" in a custom font, with the text "A Presentation of" above and "Topeka, Kansas" below, all now colored in blue, flip in towards the screen like the first version.

Variants:

  • A short variant of the second variant exists, which has the text being still while the pan shot in the background is still being played.

Technique: Live-action for the background, and computer animation for the text.

Audio: Silent for the first version, and a country hoedown tune.

Availability: Seen on Goat Gland Doctor. The early version was seen on Scatband.

2nd (known) Logo (2000s-2010?)

Visuals: On a CGI background of a plains field at daytime is the same logo from before, but horizontally, and colored blue. It zooms out, and "Presents" fades in below.

Technique: Live-action and computer animation.

Audio: An acoustic guitar tune.

Availability: Seen as a program opener for shows (mostly local) produced by the channel, like I've Got Issues.
