Background

WDCQ is a PBS station located in Bad Axe, Michigan. It began broadcasting in 1986. It was the satellite station of WDCP (launched in 1964) until that station shut down in 2009.

1st ID (December 31, 1986-1990s)


Visuals: There are three sections colored in blue. The first section says "WUCM-TV 19 University Center, MI", the second section says "Delta Broadcasting", and the last section says "WUCX-TV 35 Bad Axe / Ubly, MI".

Technique: A still computerized graphic.

Audio: An announcer saying "TV 19 and 35, from Delta Broadcasting".

2nd ID (2004)

Visuals: On a scientific background, there is a sliding letter "Q". While it slides, "W" and "DC" appear. Then, below "DC", "Delta College" fades in and below it is "Mid-Michigan".

Technique: Computer animation.
